6 листопада на Factory Industry 4.0 у Відні разом з DELTA відбувся захід Factory Planning Event – від першої ідеї до успішної експлуатації. Організатори DELTA, step2solution та Fraunhofer Austria представили приклади найкращих практик з проєктів планування заводу. Були представлені як успішно завершені проєкти, такі як проєкти для Haubis та Fronius, поточний для компанії FACC. “Після того, як нам дозволили планувати заводи для FACC з 1994 року, ми зараз працюємо над новим заводом разом з Fraunhofer Austria в Хорватії”, – пояснює Конрад Шейбл з DELTA.

На додаток до нових будівельних проєктів, цього разу основна увага була зосереджена на тому, як існуючі виробничі потужності можуть бути використані найкращим чином у поточній ринковій ситуації, оскільки останні кілька років принесли стрімке зростання у багатьох виробничих компаніях. Презентації з основ фабричного планування чергувались з інтерактивними столиками World Cafe, де були представлені поточні проєкти та цифрові інструменти, такі як GrAPPA та Digital Data Environment Datenpool. Datenpool використовується для оптимального зберігання, обробки та зв’язку. Учасники вже отримали перше розуміння програми Datenpool, яка буде доступна з січня 2020 року.

3D printing, robots and sensors
During the guided tour through the pilot factory, the participants were introduced to the latest technical possibilities of the industry. The production of components with robots is already well advanced and has some advantages in the factory. Many exciting research projects for better workflows and human-robot collaborations will be carried out in the pilot factory of the future.

Not to forget: Humans and the environment
Millions of people in the EU are employed in manufacturing. Therefore, it is important to support these people in the best possible way and to use technological possibilities as support as well as a guarantor for the competitiveness of local production”, explains Titanilla Komenda from Fraunhofer Austria. Robots and assistance systems relieve the strain on employees and support them in increasingly complex and rapidly changing processes. This promotes creative human work and entrusts the robots with monotonous tasks.
A modern factory can no longer ignore the issue of climate protection. However, sustainable investments are worthwhile if they are planned in time. With Impacting.Work, sustainable subsidy management is simple and uncomplicated; especially in the area of energy-saving, attractive subsidy subsidies are possible and support the implementation of energy efficiency measures by reducing the investment costs.
The participants had the opportunity to chat with the speakers and other visitors during a nice dinner and end the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. One participant sums up:“There was a lot of input for our company and the event was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with other participants about factory planning projects”.

A few of the most important tips before planning and building a factory:
- For the optimal factory 4.0, not only a good architect is needed, but also modern manufacturing technology, personnel and a change process
- Joint system and building planning: If these two don’t work together, it can happen that the necessary parts no longer fit into the hall; while it is already finished!
- “Culture eats Strategy for breakfast”: Without a good culture, even the best Strategy is useless! Workshops, in which a real togetherness arises, can spare serious errors and costs due to lack of coordination in the long run
- Think about a wide range of funding opportunities for sustainable projects and ensure the submission of documents in time
